Sam's Advice on Life

Hey, my name is Sam. I'm nine years old. Let me give you some tips on life.

First of all, you need to know bathroom rules...If it's yellow, let it mellow...if it's brown then flush it down.

Second you need to know about girls...Well actually, they are too hard to figure out. First they like you, then they hate you, then they act like they like you again, and then once you think that they hate you they like you again. DRAMA!

Third you need to know about parents...don't beg for things from your parents. Negotiate, that's how I always get what I want, unless it's giant and big - -then you wait for your birthday or Christmas.

Will's Blog

Hi, it's me Will. I hope you enjoy my blog. I'm loving Texas. Life's really cool, we've met a lot of friends, and they have a cool theatre group. It's not as hot and stuffy as you'd think it would be. There's one really good chip place called Julio's chips. You guys should totally try it one day. The chips are the shizz but the food (I don't know how to say it) -let's just say it can clean out your system quicker than a plunger and a bottle of Turbo-Lax. There's another place called the Emporium. It's a toy store and soda fountain. I like the cake batter flavored malt. I spend my time playing outside, going to the pool and hanging out at the Youth Center. Here's a picture of me in my room after I finally took a shower! 1st post

This is my inaugural attempt at being a blogger. I feel very high-tech and majorly cool now...
As I am not the best at keeping in touch with those I love and who have touched our lives along this long strange trip we call the Huber Family, I took a clue from the oh-so-lovely Jolene Borell (much love!) and decided that perhaps blogging is the way to go. We'll see....I'll probably give it up in a week or two once my ADD kicks in.

We have arrived in Del Rio and boy is it hot!! As you can see the house is quite unlike what we are used to living in. We call it "quaint" and that it "gives us a chance to live simply," and yes, that is chain link in the pic with Daphne. Actually, it's not that bad. The inside is WAY CUTE! The boys dig being back on base, they get to run free and play "Lord of the Flies" all the time. (Hopefully, they won't stone anyone, I'm not so sure how to deal with that!)

At this moment, the boys are running freely somewhere. They have made great friends in such a short time. Will has a newfound power as a ladies man - what fun! I love all the drama that goes along with that! Sammy goes outside when the sun comes up and returns only for food and Gatorade. They are having a great time here.

That's about all I have. We'll see if I bother to keep this up.
